The Physical Lincoln: Chronological arrangement

For the Lincoln sons, the contact sheets do not show the images in strict chronological order.

This is because:

• Photographs that show more than one person disrupt the order.
• Robert Lincoln lived in both the 1800s and 1900s, which disrupts the numerical order.

However, when you step through the images one at a time, using the links above each photograph's data-table, the images are in correect chronological order.
