The Physical Lincoln: Photograph

From Lincolnwiki

Unfortunately, this word has at least two meanings.

  • A general meaning, referring to any image made with a camera.
  • A specific technique for imaging, that was invented after earlier techniques, such as the daguerreotype and the ambrotype.

The word is used in both ways in this wiki. Context is the only way to distinguish which sense is being used. Most often, "photograph" in a table refers to the specific technique, while all other uses are the general meaning.
